How to Block or Allow Email Addresses Using Barracuda

Do you get unwanted and unsolicited emails in your First Class account?  There’s a tool available to all First Class users to help you manage unwanted and unsolicited emails called Barracuda. Here are some simple instructions for adding email addresses and domains to the Blacklist or Whitelist in Barracuda.

  1. Go to http://barracuda.wacoisd.org
  2. Login with your Active Directory username and password
  3. Click the Preferences tab at the top of the page.
  4. To ALLOW email addresses and domains enter the addresses or domains under the Whitelist and click Add.
  5. To BLOCK email addresses and domains enter the addresses or domains under the Blacklist and click Add.
  6. Note: If you enter an invalid email address or domain you will get the error message below (click to enlarge).

  7. Click Log Off in the upper right of the window.
